Christmas - Disney Day3

We woke up early Christmas morning and saw that Santa had found us at the hotel. That visit the night before must have paid off. Parker got some Rangers gear. He really grew to like baseball when the Rangers were in the World Series. Carter is in love with the Florida Gators, so what a fitting gift while in Florida for Santa to leave some gator gear. Ryder loves Yo Gabba Gabba and thats just what he got, a Yo Gabba movie and book that he wanted read right away.

After presents we started our morning at Donald Ducks Safari breakfast at Animal Kingdom. The kids joined Mickey in the conga line and got to get pictures and autographs with Mickey, Goofy, and Daisy.

Animal Kingdom was definitely the place to be on Christmas the lines weren't too long and the crowd was manageable. We even heard that MK had to close at noon because they had already reached capacity (70,000)! Yea for us for making the right choice!!
The boys favorite ride was here, Expedition Everest. What a fun ride! Lots of twist and turns both forward and back. I really enjoyed the animal safari. Seeing the animals that close was a real experience. The rhinos came right up along side the truck and we even drove past some ostrich eggs. Those would make one serious omelet.

While at AK we ran into Rafiki. Another autograph to add to our book! Before leaving Brandon and I stopped to have our picture taken by the tree and then it was off to dinner at Chef Mickeys.

Chef Mickey's was the perfect place for the kids to let loose. During the performance they would take their napkins and wave them around the air. They also got to spend some time with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. It had been a long 3 days and poor Ry could barley stay awake through all of dinner.
