The boys first day of school

Well, I'm only about a week late posting. Oh well, I am a working mom again after all. The Friday before school started the boys school had meet the teacher. Its a new school (since we moved again this summer) and that means starting over again with new faces.

Carter is starting 4th grade this year and has Mrs. Haack. She was very nice and Carter really seems to like her. He rotates class this year so he also has Ms. Gregory (math, science and social studies). He is pumped about getting to rotate. Its very grown up. They even have lockers. Plus Carter will still be in SAGE class this year which he loves!

Carter was surprised on the first day of school to find a familiar face in his class. A boy from his homeroom last year at our old school is in his homeroom this year. Its a good feeling when your kids come home happy from school and feel like they have a friend.

Parker is a 1st grader this year. His teacher is Mrs. Shaw. You can tell she loves kids. Parker really likes her.

He too has some familiar faces. Our neighbor and a boy from his flag football team last season are both in first grade. They have different teachers but they can still hang at recess.

I think we are really going to like Nebbie Williams. You can tell it is a school where the teachers and parents put a lot of energy into making it great!
